Job Description:
  • Develop and implement effective accounting processes to ensure timely and accurate management accounts.
  • Liaise with Divisional Finance Directors to provide detailed analysis and commentary for monthly management accounts.
  • Review and analyze purchase and sales ledger information from the centralised accounting department.
  • Supervise one or two Accounts staff and a Sales Administrator.
  • Analyze performance measurement tools and techniques to evaluate profit optimisation and inform business decisions.
  • Review capital and project appraisals to ensure alignment with business objectives.
Requirements:
  • Strong technical and analytical accounting skills.
  • Exceptional leadership skills with a good sense of humour.
  • Proven track record within the motor industry.
  • Previous accountancy experience within a car dealership and Kerridge, Pinnacle, or similar accounting package.
  • Strong written and communication skills.
