As a specialist in podiatry services, you will be responsible for managing a caseload of patients with high-risk feet, including those with wounds and ulcers. Your expertise in nail surgery and current assessment techniques will be invaluable in providing high-quality care to our patients.
Key Responsibilities- Manage a specialist community caseload, assessing and treating patients with high-risk feet, including those with wounds and ulcers.
- Carry out nail surgery and use evidence-based MSK skills to offload the at-risk foot.
- Work in partnership with patients and other service users to communicate effectively and meet the needs of the recipient.
- Identify local need for podiatry services, evaluate priorities, and deliver care accordingly, managing capacity and demand within contractual agreements.
