About the Role

COSLA is seeking a Policy Manager to join its Local Government Finance Team, which leads on all areas relating to local government finance. As a Policy Manager, you will contribute to the budget and settlement process for Local Government.

Key Responsibilities

You will lead on key policy areas such as Council Tax Reform and the Fiscal Framework, and engage with senior politicians from Local, Scottish and UK Government, as well as senior representatives of public, private and third sector organisations.

Requirements

Candidates should have a professional accountancy qualification or equivalent relevant experience working in a finance setting. If you are a motivated and experienced finance professional looking for a challenging role in local government finance, we encourage you to apply.
