We are seeking an experienced Transportation Specialist to join our team at Global Ardour Recycling Limited, a renowned national recycling and waste management business. As a 7.5 tonne tilt and slide car transporter driver, you will play a vital role in our operations, ensuring seamless transportation of goods between sites.


">Responsibilities:
  • Safe operation of a 7.5 tonne vehicle, adhering to strict regulations and guidelines.
  • Effective communication with customers to schedule efficient vehicle collections.
  • Knowledge and application of driver's hours and working time directive regulations.
  • Accurate use of Tachographs, digital and analogue, for precise logging and record-keeping.
  • Adherence to company appearance guidelines, contributing to a professional image.
  • Providing exceptional customer service, fostering strong relationships with clients and stakeholders.
  • Regular completion of vehicle check sheets and defect reports, emphasizing the importance of vehicle maintenance.
  • Strict adherence to driving laws and regulations, prioritizing road safety and minimizing risks.
  • Active participation in maintaining a healthy and safe work environment, aligning with company values.
  • Contributing to maintaining a clean and organized workspace, promoting efficiency and productivity.
  • Performing additional tasks assigned by management, showcasing flexibility and a strong work ethic.

">Requirements:
  • Proficiency in operating various trailer types.
  • Understanding and implementation of driver's hours and working time directive regulations.
  • Current or pending possession of Driver CPC certification.
  • Demonstrating strong problem-solving skills and a robust work ethic, enhancing route planning and efficiency.
  • Excellent collaboration and communication skills, allowing effective teamwork and independent work.
  • Ability to plan the most efficient routes to job locations, reducing travel times and increasing productivity.

The annual salary for this position is £42,750, forming part of a comprehensive compensation package.
