Our team has delivered some of the most significant infrastructure projects at a national scale. This includes delivering the development consent order for the Cottam Solar Farm, the largest consented solar farm in the UK. We are now looking for a driven member of the team to help us drive our growth and deliver excellence to our clients on new infrastructure projects.

The Role: As an Environmental Planning Specialist, you'll be a key member of the project delivery team providing technical advice. You will lead and provide multidisciplinary environmental inputs across a range of projects, with a focus on the management of EIAs, in support of gaining development consent.

You'll coordinate the preparation of EIA screening and scoping reports and Environmental Statements, including the technical review of specialist chapters. You will liaise with internal supply teams, including working collaboratively with design teams to ensure that environmental considerations are appropriately considered.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead and provide technical advice on multidisciplinary environmental inputs
  • Coordinate the preparation of EIA screening and scoping reports
  • Liaise with internal supply teams

Requirements:

  • An environmental or related degree
  • Chartership status or be on the journey to becoming chartered (through CIWEM, CIEEM, IEMA)
  • Strong competent and up-to-date EIA technical and legislative knowledge and experience

We offer a competitive salary of £60,000 - £80,000 per annum, depending on experience.
