Construction Management Leader - Water Treatment Projects

A medium-sized civil engineering contractor specialising in Water Treatment projects is seeking an experienced Construction Management Leader to oversee multiple projects in the UK.

Location: Covering sites across Gloucestershire, Oxfordshire, and West Midlands.

Estimated Salary: £65,000 - £85,000 per annum depending on experience.

As a Construction Management Leader, you will be responsible for ensuring timely delivery and budget compliance of water treatment projects.

About the Role

You will lead site teams, manage client expectations, and maintain strong relationships with stakeholders.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Project Leadership: Oversee and manage water treatment projects simultaneously, ensuring timely delivery and within budget.
  • Client & Stakeholder Management: Maintain strong relationships with clients, subcontractors, and stakeholders, providing regular project updates and managing expectations.
  • Compliance & Safety: Ensure all projects meet industry standards, safety regulations, and environmental guidelines.
  • Team Coordination: Lead and coordinate site teams, ensuring clear communication and effective teamwork to drive project success.
  • Risk Management: Identify potential project risks and implement strategies to mitigate them.

Requirements:

  • Experience: Proven experience as a Construction Manager or Project Manager within the Civil Engineering sector, ideally with Water Treatment experience.
  • Technical Knowledge: Strong understanding of water infrastructure projects, including treatment facilities and pipeline systems.
  • Leadership Skills: Proven ability to lead and manage multiple projects simultaneously, coordinating teams, and liaising with stakeholders.
  • Communication: Strong interpersonal and negotiation skills with the ability to manage client relationships effectively.
  • Driving License: Full UK driving license is required for site visits across multiple locations.
