Job Title: Recruitment and Progression Officer

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Recruitment and Progression Officer to join our team at Catch22 College. The successful candidate will play a key role in recruiting learners onto our programmes and supporting them throughout their journey.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Recruit learners onto our vocational programmes through engagement with local authorities, schools, colleges, and referring agencies.
  • Develop strong links with local employers to create work placement and employment opportunities.
  • Work closely with colleagues to match learners to the right placements or employment opportunities and provide support to ensure their success.
  • Conduct regular progress reviews with learners, identify career progression opportunities, and work with teaching staff to create bespoke learner journeys.
  • Support learners on work experience placements, networking with other agencies, parents, and carers to ensure their needs are met.

Requirements:

  • Level 2 qualification in English and Maths.
  • Experience working in an education or vocational training setting or demonstrable knowledge of the challenges of working in such a setting.
  • Good practical knowledge of common ICT software packages, especially MS Office.
  • Able to engage, inspire, and motivate young people to be at their best.
  • Strong communication and engagement skills, with the ability to form strong connections with professionals and other partners.
  • Proven experience of engaging with stakeholders for recruitment and progressions.
