Job Description

We are seeking an experienced Associate Lawyer to join our client's team, providing and overseeing the provision of legal advice to support delivery of bank-wide projects in line with internal deadlines. As a source of professional legal expertise, you will advise stakeholders on new product development, legal and regulatory developments, digital adoption, terms and conditions, marketing, operational queries, and all legal issues related to clients' personal and business banking products.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Providing legal advice to support delivery of bank-wide projects
  • Advising on new product development, legal and regulatory developments, and digital adoption
  • Maintaining awareness of internal projects and external legal developments
  • Contributing to reporting and escalation of legal or governance issues
  • Building and maintaining internal networks and stakeholder relationships
The Successful Applicant

We are looking for a highly skilled and experienced Associate Lawyer with:

  • UK/Scotland qualification
  • Minimum 5 years PQE, primarily in financial services products/regulatory legal knowledge
  • Strong negotiation skills
  • Attention to detail
  • Team-oriented approach
