Job Summary: We are seeking an experienced Front End Software Engineer to lead our Consumer Services technical development at Ledger. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for owning desktop and mobile development, collaborating with various teams, and engaging with partner companies to integrate new technologies. Your expertise in JavaScript frameworks, preferably React, and proficiency in TypeScript will ensure high-quality code and robust applications.

Estimated Salary: $130,000 - $190,000 per year.

Key Responsibilities:
  1. Owning from a technical standpoint the desktop and mobile development of Consumer Services
  2. Collaborating with our devs, QA, designers, and product within Consumer Services teams
  3. Proactively engaging with teams from partner companies to make new integrations even smoother
  4. Participating in code reviews and promoting code quality and best practices
  5. Seeking excellence and ensuring the highest standards in everything you do
  6. Being responsible for the quality of Consumer Services
  7. Mentoring and promoting tech growth within the front-end team
  8. Innovating and participating in building crypto services with new ideas around quality software, UI/UX, security, and blockchain technology
  9. Sharing knowledge within Ledger and beyond

Requirements:
  • 5+ years of experience in front-end software development
  • Strong coding principles with extensive experience in any JavaScript framework, preferably React
  • Proficiency in using testing technologies and practices, such as Jest, Playwright, and React Testing Library, to ensure high-quality code and robust applications
  • Attention to detail in UI design with a proactive approach to enhancing user flows and overall user experience
  • Experience with complex projects that emphasize performance and scalability of the front-end stack while maintaining simplicity
