About the Role

We are looking for an experienced Consultant Psychiatrist who has worked in inpatient settings under the Mental Health Act. Your expertise in treating individuals affected by trauma and mental disorders will be essential in providing high-quality care at Dunnock View. As a Consultant Psychiatrist, you will take on RC responsibility for Dunnock View, subject to final CQC registration.

  • Ensure safe assessment, treatment, and discharge of patients
  • Medication management and delivery of NICE guidance
  • Quality assurance, complaints, and co-production
  • Leading and managing the CPA and ICR process for full compliance with quality standards

You will also participate in the On Call Consultant rota, taking turns with your colleagues to provide 24/7 coverage. This is a fantastic opportunity to work collaboratively with our experienced team and contribute to the development of our new service.

About You

To be successful in this role, you should have:

  • A medical degree, MRC Psych or equivalent qualification
  • Innovative thinking and the ability to drive corporate decisions
  • Essential understanding of current developments in psychiatry and other aspects of mental health
  • Substantial knowledge of change management, relevant legislation, and contemporary issues in mental health
  • Previous Consultant experience and strong clinical skills
