Job Title: Principal Geotechnical Engineer

CV Library is pleased to be working with a reputable Geotechnical Consultancy to recruit a Principal Geotechnical Engineer as part of their Northamptonshire based team.

Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced Principal Geotechnical Engineer to lead geotechnical and geoenvironmental projects from project conception to completion. The successful candidate will have a strong portfolio of successful projects and excellent communication skills.

Key Responsibilities
  1. Prepare and review holistic risk assessments, technical reports, and strategies to create exhaustive plans of work.
  2. Lead geotechnical and geoenvironmental projects, including contract management and mentoring of junior and graduate staff.
  3. Act as a vital point of contact for clients, maintaining effective communication to ensure project objectives are met.
Requirements

Proven experience of at least 10 years in consultancy within geotechnical and geoenvironmental engineering.

Chartered status, ideally with an MSc in Geotechnical Engineering.

Computer and Geotechnical Software literate.

Full UK Clean Driving License and willingness to travel as part of the role.
