Support Worker for Children with Social Emotional and Mental Health Needs

We are currently working with a Primary school in Bradford who are seeking a dedicated educator with experience in supporting children with Social Emotional and Mental Health Needs. As a SEMH Teaching Assistant, you will play a vital role in providing support to children who access the curriculum differently due to a background of care, trauma or behavioural challenges.
Key Responsibilities:
* Supporting children with Social, Emotional and Mental Health needs
* Scaffolding activities to meet the needs of learners
* Working 1:1 and building up a close relationship with children
* Following all safeguarding and child protection procedures
* Strong behaviour management and high expectations for behaviour
* Liaising with colleagues and sometimes parents about progress
Requirements:
* L2 or above TA Qualification
* Education based degree or qualification
