About The Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Pharmacy Manager to lead our in-store pharmacy team and contribute to the success of Morrisons. As a Pharmacy Manager, you will be responsible for the day-to-day operations of the pharmacy, including managing staff, developing pharmacy sales and services, and ensuring compliance with legal and ethical requirements.
Reporting to the Store Manager, you will have the opportunity to shape the pharmacy service and put it at the heart of the store. Our Pharmacy Managers are responsible for:
  • Emphasizing the importance of clinical governance and investing time in training colleagues
  • Proactively developing pharmacy sales, services, and profitability in a cost-effective and safe manner
  • Managing the department and individual staff competence, as well as a high-performing pharmacy team
  • Focusing on the day-to-day business, as well as medium-term operation, and regularly auditing staff, services, systems, records, and standards

About You

As a Pharmacy Manager, you will have a true desire to help others and lead the team to enhance current services. You will possess a Pharmacy degree, hold membership of the General Pharmaceutical Council (GPhC), and demonstrate excellent team management and communication skills. Pharmacists working for Morrisons will have to complete a DBS check prior to commencement of employment. Morrisons Pharmacies offer colleagues a high level of working flexibility and control over their work rotas, enabling routine overlap periods with other pharmacists on duty for consistency of patient care and colleague development.
