Mobile Fabric Engineer Job Description

Ex-Mil Recruitment Ltd is seeking a skilled Mobile Fabric Engineer to join its London team. The successful candidate will be responsible for maintaining fabric areas to the required standard, carrying out works as detailed, and proactively responding to client needs.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Carry out Planned Preventative Maintenance (PPM) tasks as requested by the Administrator and/or Coordinator.
  • Carry out reactive tasks as requested by the Administrator and/or Coordinator.
  • Liaise with the Administrator and client on an ongoing basis.
  • Carry out any other reasonable works requested as directed by management.
  • Daily completion of necessary paperwork to attribute working hours to tasks.
Requirements:
  • Relevant qualification to NVQ level 2 in either carpentry or painting.
  • At least 3 years' experience in carpentry or painting, preferably on heritage buildings.
  • Experience of other trades to a good level.
  • CSCS Card minimum, with CSCS Heritage Card highly desirable.
  • Asbestos, WAH, Fire, and Environmental Awareness desirable.
  • COSHH.
  • Manual Handling.
  • Commitment to producing a high standard of work.
  • Ability to work as part of a team.
  • Ability to work with minimum supervision.
  • Able to work weekends and out of hours.
