About the Role
We are seeking a highly skilled Fire Alarm Commission Engineer to join our team at H&K Fire Engineering. As a Fire Alarm Commission Engineer, you will be responsible for the service, maintenance, and technical support of fire alarm systems. You will work closely with our project delivery team to integrate fire alarm systems on projects and perform commissioning tasks with handover to clients.
Key Responsibilities
- Conducting servicing, PPM, and technical support on fire alarm systems for our clients.
- Integrating fire alarm systems on projects, working alongside the project delivery team.
- Performing commissioning tasks with handover to clients.
- Supporting on quotes and design of systems.
- Performing fire inspections and maintaining equipment required for these inspections.
Requirements
- Proven experience in fire alarm systems maintenance, gained over a number of years.
- FIA or equivalent training is highly desirable.
- Hold a full UK Driving Licence.
- Provide a professional service, demonstrating meticulous attention to detail, quality, and customer service.
- Able to work independently, with little supervision, but also as part of a team.
- Reliability and punctuality are essential for this role.
What We Offer
- Competitive salary, negotiable depending on experience.
- 25 days holiday plus bank holidays, with option to buy 5 days and sell 2 days.

- Hours: 40 per week, Monday to Friday, 8am to 4.30pm.
- Call out rota, including standby rates.
