Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Field Service Team Leader to join our team at TRS Consulting. As a Field Service Team Leader, you will be responsible for leading a team of field service engineers in the medical diagnostics industry.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Day-to-day management of the field service engineering team, ensuring efficient and effective service delivery.
  • Organizing and overseeing the planning and execution of Preventive Maintenance (PPM) schedules and service visits.
  • Managing stock control and ordering spare parts to ensure minimal downtime and optimal service delivery.
  • Updating the service database and utilizing management tools to review and analyze team performance.

Requirements:

  • HNC in electronics or a related technical discipline.
  • Previous field service experience in a high-technology service environment.
  • Senior engineering, mentoring, or team leadership experience is preferred.
  • Knowledge of the medical diagnostics, laboratory, or scientific fields is advantageous but not essential.
  • Excellent customer service skills and a confident and professional manner in customer-facing environments.
  • Flexible approach with the determination to seize opportunities and resolve complex challenges.
  • Full UK driving license.
