Chief Financial Officer Opportunity in the South Yorkshire Region


We are seeking a highly experienced and accomplished Chief Financial Officer to join our business in the South Yorkshire region. As a key member of our senior leadership team, you will play a critical role in driving the financial strategy and performance of the company.


The ideal candidate will have a proven track record of success in a similar CFO role, with experience of leading finance teams through periods of growth and transformation. You will be a strategic thinker, able to provide insightful financial guidance and support to the management team, as well as being a hands-on leader who can drive operational improvements and efficiencies.

Key responsibilities will include:



  • Leading the finance function, including financial planning, budgeting, forecasting, and reporting
  • Developing and implementing financial strategies to support business growth and expansion
  • Maintaining accurate and up-to-date financial records, including accounts payable and receivable, payroll, and general ledger
  • Providing financial analysis and insights to inform business decisions
  • Collaborating with other members of the senior leadership team to develop and implement business plans and strategies

The successful candidate will have:



  • A minimum of 10 years' experience in a similar CFO role, preferably in a fast-paced and dynamic environment
  • Proven expertise in financial planning, budgeting, forecasting, and reporting
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to interpret complex financial data and present findings in a clear and concise manner
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with stakeholders at all levels
  • A collaborative and adaptable approach, with a willingness to work flexibly and respond to changing priorities and deadlines
  • A strong understanding of financial regulations and compliance requirements, with the ability to ensure that the company's financial practices and procedures are always in line with current laws and standards
