Job Title: Refuge Support Worker - Domestic Abuse Specialist

We are seeking a dedicated and passionate Refuge Support Worker to join our team in Cardiff. As a key member of our team, you will provide vital support to women and children affected by domestic abuse.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide individually tailored support packages to women and children
  • Work flexibly Monday to Friday and participate in an on-call service
  • Support women to maintain licence agreements and prepare for independent living
  • Assist in producing qualitative and quantitative data, including case studies
  • Support women and children to have a voice within the organisation and sector

Requirements:

  • Hold a SafeLives IDVA training certificate or relevant degree
  • Driving licence and access to own vehicle
  • Understanding of domestic violence and abuse, including impact on victims and children
  • Experience in engaging with external agencies
  • Strong crisis management skills
  • Excellent IT and communication skills
