About the Opportunity

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Maintenance Team Leader to join our team at ESSRecruit. As a key member of our operations team, you will be responsible for the execution of all front-line electrical, control system, and instrumentation maintenance activities across our facilities.

As a Maintenance Team Leader, you will be responsible for:

  • Ensuring the safe and efficient execution of maintenance activities, in accordance with our operational requirements and industry best practices.
  • Leading and developing a small team of front-line maintenance technicians, providing guidance and support to ensure they have the necessary skills and knowledge to perform their duties effectively.
  • Developing and implementing maintenance plans and schedules to ensure optimal equipment performance and minimize downtime.
  • Coordinating and executing planned and unplanned shutdown activities, ensuring minimal disruption to our operations.
  • Collaborating with our production team to maximize operational availability and efficiency.
  • Identifying and implementing opportunities for process improvements, simplifying and standardizing maintenance procedures to enhance overall efficiency and effectiveness.

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • A strong background in maintenance, with significant experience in a complex operational environment.
  • Proven leadership and management skills, with a track record of leading small workgroups.
  • Knowledge of Distributed Control Systems and PLCs, as well as High Voltage switching and control concepts.
  • Experience with SAP and other maintenance management software.
  • Knowledge and experience of complex integrated plant and equipment, commonly found in continuous process industries such as power generation, cement, and petrochemicals.
