Role Summary: The Electrical Control and Instrumentation Specialists are tasked with essential maintenance operations concerning electrical systems, control mechanisms, and instrumentation. This encompasses all operational, structural, and site systems within the facility, aiming to uphold compliance and ensure the facility's optimal performance.
Key Responsibilities (Specialists):
- Implement all tasks adhering to the Safe System of Work, prioritizing the safety of personnel, equipment, and the environment.
- Ensure the facility is maintained in accordance with industry standards, adhering to environmental, legal, licensing, and internal regulations.
- Provide proactive maintenance support to the facility.
- Conduct all preventive and predictive maintenance tasks across the facility.
- Collaborate with the Production Team to enhance operational efficiency and availability.
Additional Responsibilities (Team Leader):
- Guide, develop, and inspire the Electrical Control and Instrumentation Maintenance Team to deliver outstanding maintenance services.
- Assist in the recruitment, planning, and management of maintenance personnel in partnership with the Maintenance Manager.
- Support the training and development of apprentices and succession planning within the team alongside the Maintenance Manager.
- Oversee and execute all preventive and predictive maintenance tasks across the facility.
- Manage both planned and unplanned maintenance shutdowns.
- Coordinate maintenance efforts with the Production Team to maximize operational efficiency and availability.
Qualifications & Experience Required:
- Experience in maintenance, construction, or engineering services.
- Demonstrated maintenance experience in complex operational settings (Energy Generation, Industrial Processes).
- A minimum of 2-5 years of relevant experience.
- Familiarity with Distributed Control Systems and PLCs is beneficial but not mandatory; training will be provided.
- Knowledge of High Voltage switching and control concepts is advantageous but not essential; training will be provided.
- Experience with SAP is a plus but not required; training will be provided.
- Experience with complex integrated systems and equipment typical in continuous process industries such as energy generation, cement, and petrochemicals.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Ability to foster and maintain professional relationships.
- Eligibility to work in the UK is required as no visa sponsorship will be offered.
