Kent Community Health NHS Foundation Trust is seeking a skilled and dedicated Senior Sexual Health Nurse to join our team in Chatham. As a Senior Sexual Health Nurse, you will play a vital role in delivering high-quality care to patients and contributing to the development of our sexual health services.
Main Duties and Responsibilities:
- Provide clinical leadership and guidance to our sexual health team, ensuring the delivery of high-quality patient care and outcomes.
- Contribute to the development and implementation of our sexual health services, including the development of new initiatives and projects.
- Work closely with our multidisciplinary team to ensure seamless care pathways for patients.
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with local partners, stakeholders, and community groups to promote our sexual health services.
- Stay up-to-date with the latest research, guidelines, and best practices in sexual health, applying this knowledge to improve patient care and outcomes.
Person Specification:
- Nursing or midwifery qualification and registered with the Nursing and Midwifery Council.
- Experience in managing health-related projects and complex caseloads.
- Strong influencing and negotiating skills, with the ability to work effectively with a variety of people at all organisational levels.
- Ability to manage time effectively, prioritise tasks, and work under pressure to meet deadlines.
- Comprehensive knowledge of all aspects of sexual health and local services.
