Project Engineer - Electrical

We are seeking a highly skilled Project Engineer - Electrical to join our team at Trant Engineering. As a key member of our multi-disciplinary team, you will be responsible for supporting the technical and commercial aspects of electrical and mechanical installations on our projects.

Scope of Work:
  • Implement new and upgrade existing assets to reduce nutrient levels in treated wastewater.
  • Design and implement mechanical and electrical installations, including dosing skids, storage tanks, flowmeters, pumps, and access platforms.
  • Upgrade existing lighting and exchange old pumps, valves, flow meters, and instrumentation.
Key Responsibilities:
  • Attend internal and external design review and progress meetings.
  • Review electrical and mechanical design documentation.
  • Procure electrical and mechanical equipment and support subcontract procurement.
  • Ensure site installation works meet design and industry standards.
  • Record and review as-built information.
  • Produce risk assessments and method statements.
Requirements:
  • Degree or HND/HNC in Electrical Engineering.
  • Water engineering background preferred.
  • Good working knowledge of safety, health, environment, and quality procedures.
  • Microsoft Office and CAD packages.
  • Good appreciation of Excel to a higher level.
