About the Role:

We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated individual to join our Component Rebuild team as an Apprentice Customer Service Engineer. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for responding to customer field repair and service requests for specific machine components.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Provide exceptional customer service and support to customers in the field
  • Diagnose and repair complex mechanical and electrical issues on Caterpillar equipment
  • Work collaboratively with the Branch team to provide timely and cost-effective solutions
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with customers to ensure their needs are met
  • Stay up-to-date with the latest dealer software and repair techniques

Requirements:
  • Formally apprenticed trained (NVQ Level 3) and served as a workshop engineer for a significant period or equivalent experience
  • LDV driving licence
  • Strong planning and organizational skills with the ability to work in high-pressure situations
  • Knowledge in the use of field-based diagnosis tools and equipment
