Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Chef to join our team at Stir, a fast-growing company that values creativity and innovation. As a key member of our culinary team, you will be responsible for developing and delivering exciting menus that showcase our commitment to using fresh and sustainable ingredients.

This is a fixed-term contract, covering maternity leave, with a competitive hourly rate of £13.50. You will work Monday to Friday, with 32.5 hours per week, and enjoy a range of benefits, including access to training and development opportunities.

Main Responsibilities
  • Design and implement menus that meet the highest standards of nutrition and quality
  • Lead a team of culinary professionals to deliver exceptional dining experiences for students and staff
  • Ensure compliance with food hygiene, allergen, and health and safety regulations
  • Develop and maintain positive relationships with clients and customers
Requirements
  • Proven experience in a culinary role, preferably in an education setting
  • Food Hygiene level 2 & 3 certification (further training will be available)
  • Excellent knowledge of health and safety practices within a kitchen
  • Basic computer skills, with experience of using different systems
