About the Role

We're seeking a highly skilled and experienced Deputy Store Manager to join our team at B&M Retail Limited. As a key member of our store leadership team, you will play a vital role in driving store performance and delivering exceptional customer experiences.

Reporting to the Store Manager, you will be responsible for leading a team of retail professionals and ensuring the smooth operation of the store. This will involve managing stock, recruiting and developing team members, and maintaining high standards of customer service.

As a Deputy Store Manager, you will be expected to work closely with the Store Manager to achieve business objectives and drive sales growth. You will also be responsible for maintaining accurate records, managing budgets, and ensuring compliance with company policies and procedures.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead and develop a high-performing team of retail professionals
  • Manage stock levels, inventory, and merchandise displays
  • Recruit, train, and develop team members to achieve business objectives
  • Maintain high standards of customer service and ensure a positive shopping experience
  • Work closely with the Store Manager to achieve business objectives and drive sales growth
  • Maintain accurate records, manage budgets, and ensure compliance with company policies and procedures

Requirements
  • Management experience within a fast-paced retail environment
  • Experience managing medium to large-sized teams
  • A history of working towards and successfully delivering KPIs
  • Flexibility to work a range of hours, including weekends and bank holidays
