About the Role

We're looking for a highly skilled and motivated Deputy Store Manager to join our team at CV-Library. As a Deputy Store Manager, you'll play a key role in supporting the Store Manager and leading the store team to deliver exceptional customer service and achieve sales targets.

Key Responsibilities

  1. Manage the store in the absence of the Store Manager, ensuring seamless day-to-day operations and maintaining high standards of customer service.
  2. Lead and inspire the store team to achieve sales targets, improve customer satisfaction, and maintain a clean and safe store environment.
  3. Monitor and manage stock levels, cash processes, and other store operations to ensure efficiency and effectiveness.
  4. Develop and implement strategies to improve customer engagement, loyalty, and retention.
  5. Collaborate with the Store Manager to set and achieve sales targets, and to develop and implement store plans and initiatives.

Requirements

  1. Proven experience in a retail management role, with a strong track record of leading and developing high-performing teams.
  2. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with colleagues, customers, and stakeholders.
  3. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to interpret data and make informed decisions.
  4. Ability to work flexibly, including evenings and weekends, and to adapt to changing priorities and deadlines.
  5. Knowledge of retail operations, including stock management, cash handling, and customer service.
