**Job Overview:**

Barnardo's is seeking a motivated and experienced Deputy Manager to join our Emotional Wellbeing Assessment Home in Hinckley. As a key member of our senior management team, you will play a vital role in delivering high-quality care to children and young people aged 8-18.

**Responsibilities:**

  • To lead and manage a team of residential childcare professionals, ensuring that all residents receive the highest level of care and support.
  • To work closely with the manager to develop and implement strategies to improve the quality of care and services provided.
  • To contribute to the development of policies and procedures, ensuring that they are aligned with OFSTED Regulations and Quality Standards.
  • To maintain accurate records and reports, ensuring that all data is up-to-date and compliant with regulatory requirements.

**Requirements:**

  • A Level 3 qualification relevant to Residential Childcare is essential.
  • Experience of working towards the Level 5 Diploma in Leadership for Health & Social Care and Children & Young People's services is highly desirable.
  • A minimum of 1 year supervisory and shift leader experience in a Children's Residential setting is required.
  • Knowledge and experience of working with OFSTED Regulations and Quality Standards of Children's homes is essential.

**Estimated Salary:** £40,500 per annum, based on location and experience.
