Job Summary

We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Care Worker to join our team at Leonard Cheshire. As a Care Worker, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality care and support to adults with physical disabilities.

Key Responsibilities

  • Assist with daily life tasks, including personal care, medication, and mealtimes.
  • Escort and assist individuals in and around the service, at external events, and appointments.
  • Support our Person Centred approach, encouraging maximum independence for our customers and helping to achieve individual aspirations.
  • Maintain up-to-date and accurate records.

Requirements

  • Good interpersonal skills and ability to communicate effectively.
  • Work flexibly and creatively with customers and their families.
  • Ideal experience in personal care (not essential).
  • Ability to work under pressure and as a team.
  • Flexibility to work within rostered hours and prepared to participate in an on-call rota where required.
