SPTS, a division of KLA, is seeking a highly motivated and skilled Manufacturing Design Engineer to join our dynamic team. In this role, you will play a pivotal part in designing, improving, and optimizing products and processes that drive manufacturing growth and innovation.

As a key member of the multi-functional MDE team, you will collaborate closely with various departments, leveraging your technical expertise and problem-solving abilities to ensure efficient planning and delivery of high-value equipment.

Your Responsibilities:

  • Provide valuable feedback on Design for Manufacture (DFM) principles.
  • Create and meticulously maintain comprehensive manufacturing documentation.
  • Manage specifications effectively using Enovia PLM software.
  • Lead cross-functional projects, driving collaboration and success across teams.
  • Proactively resolve technical challenges encountered in manufacturing processes.
  • Offer expert guidance to Supply Chain and Outsourcing teams, ensuring seamless integration.
  • Conduct thorough root cause analysis to identify and implement effective solutions.
  • Review and approve Engineering Change Orders (ECOs) to maintain product integrity.
  • Demonstrate a strong understanding of budgets and provide support for CAPEX requests.
  • Implement changes in accordance with established Product Lifecycle processes.

Requirements:

  • A Bachelor's degree in Engineering or equivalent relevant experience.
  • Proficiency in industry-standard software such as Solid Edge, Solid Works, and AutoCAD Electrical.
  • In-depth knowledge of IPC/WHMA-A-620 and IPC A-610H standards.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills to foster effective collaboration.
