About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Desktop & AV Support Engineer to join our Client Services team in Enterprise Technology & Services (ET&S). As a key member of our team, you will provide exceptional customer service and technical expertise to staff, faculty, and students on our assigned campus.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide IT support and service to clients, including troubleshooting and resolving technical issues, deploying and maintaining hardware and software, and managing computer lifecycle and IT assets.
  • Work collaboratively with the Help Desk and team members to analyze problems and develop solutions, and use enterprise ticketing systems to manage workflows.
  • Install, maintain, and troubleshoot software applications and network resources, and develop solutions to complex problems.
  • Monitor security and investigate security problems, recommending corrective action as assigned, and staying up-to-date with USNH IT Security recommendations.
  • Document fixes, workarounds, and research, and prioritize tasks in a fast-paced environment.
Requirements
  • Associate's degree and 3-5 years of experience, or Bachelor's degree and 2 years of experience, or equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • Demonstrated knowledge of Windows and Mac OS, and mastery of current operating systems, client productivity tools, peripherals, wired and wireless networks, and mobile devices.
  • Endpoint management experience, including endpoint life-cycle management and hardware asset management.
  • Demonstrated ability to communicate professionally, accurately, and effectively through verbal, written, and telephone communication.
  • Valid driver's license.
