We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Manufacturing Administration Specialist to join our team at Talent Rockit Ltd. As a key member of our Manufacturing team, you will provide administrative support to the Bindery and Manufacturing Managers, ensuring the smooth operation of our production departments.
Key Responsibilities- Assist with reception duties, including telephone calls, postal, and small deliveries.
- Issue payslips and written communication to all departments.
- Administer crewing for each production area, liaising with managers, employees, and agencies.
- Create and update weekly manning sheets for all departments.
- Ensure cover for all holidays and sickness absences.
- Manage the time management system, ensuring all worked hours, sickness, and holidays are recorded and processed correctly.
- Update the annualized hours running total each week.
- Process all holiday requests for all production departments.
- Prepare paperwork for department managers, including return to work documents, training record cards, and recording time stamps.
- Create Purchase Orders for workwear, PPE, First Aid supplies, and stationery.
- Assist with booking training courses, occupational health reviews, accommodation, and travel.
- Ability to work in a highly confidential role.
- Previous experience in an administrative role in a similar environment.
- High standard of written and verbal communication skills.
- Great attention to detail.
- Good knowledge of Microsoft Office functions, specifically Excel & Word.
- Ability to learn and understand how to use other IT platforms.
- Good work organization skills, ability to prioritize and meet deadlines.
- Ability to work on own initiative as well as in a team.
- Ability to understand routine instruction.
