Key Responsibilities

As a Quantity Surveyor / Estimator, you will be responsible for:

  • Developing and implementing cost control and value management strategies to ensure projects are delivered within budget.
  • Preparing and managing monthly forecasts, CVRs, and Profit & Loss statements to provide accurate financial insights.
  • Managing subcontractor payments and ensuring timely and efficient payment processes.
  • Providing guidance on contractual issues and ensuring compliance with company policies and procedures.
  • Preparing and reviewing tenders, budget estimates, and cost plans to ensure accuracy and completeness.
  • Identifying and mitigating financial, design, production, and contractual risks/opportunities to ensure project success.
  • Measuring quantities and producing Bills of Quantities, or overseeing their production by others.
  • Ensuring enquiries are issued and quotations received from subcontractors and suppliers.

This is an exciting opportunity to work with a leading fit out and refurbishment contractor delivering exceptional professional services to a number of leading clients across the UK. The successful candidate will have the opportunity to work on a variety of projects, including shop fitting, bars and restaurants, and leisure schemes, valued up to £5m.
