**Job Summary**

Deichmann is seeking a highly motivated and experienced Retail Supervisor to join our team in our Derby store. As a Retail Supervisor, you will play a vital role in supporting the store management team and delivering an exceptional shopping experience to our customers.

**Key Responsibilities**

  • Lead and supervise the store team in the absence of the Store Manager, ensuring seamless day-to-day operations.
  • Open and close the store, including cash handling and completion of associated administrative duties.
  • Provide exceptional customer service, offering product recommendations and promoting complementary products.
  • Assist management in leading the team to achieve store sales targets and key performance indicators (KPIs).
  • Support team members as needed, ensuring a positive and productive work environment.
  • Maintain store appearance, including merchandising, product displays, and stock management.
  • Process stock deliveries and store transfers, ensuring accurate inventory levels.
  • Address customer queries and complaints in a professional and courteous manner.

**Requirements**

  • Previous supervisory experience, including cash handling and banking.
  • Self-motivated, with a positive and proactive attitude.
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to work effectively with a diverse team.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team, with a focus on delivering results.
  • High levels of attention to detail, with a methodical approach to completing daily tasks.
  • Commitment to working 30 hours per week, with flexibility to work any day (Monday-Sunday).
