Production Operative

Job Summary: We are seeking a skilled Production Operative to join our team in a manufacturing environment. The successful candidate will be responsible for working across various departments within the factory, operating machinery, and utilizing power and hand tools.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Work with technical specifications, quality standards, and established procedures to meet manufacturing schedules.
  • Collect materials and equipment, select, fabricate, or modify components to measurements and specifications.
  • Align and assemble parts to build complex units, and report any issues or malfunctions.

Requirements: To be successful in this role, candidates must have previous manufacturing or engineering experience, with the ability to read and understand technical drawings. Good hand-to-eye coordination, manual dexterity, and communication skills are also essential.

Salary and Benefits: The starting salary for this position is £11.44 per hour, with opportunities for review and growth.

Working Arrangements: This is a permanent role, working Monday to Friday, with a 30-minute lunch break. The working hours are 8am to 4:45pm, Monday to Thursday, and 8am to 2:45pm on Fridays.
