Bars Venue Director

As a Venue Manager at Butlin's, you will be responsible for leading the day-to-day operations of your venue, ensuring a consistent delivery of a quality guest experience in line with brand and venue guidelines. You will be accountable for monitoring guest feedback, analysing trends, and exploring opportunities for improvement. Additionally, you will be responsible for monitoring P&L and payroll spend, taking action when necessary to mitigate risks. You will also provide accurate rota's three weeks in advance through SAM for all team members within the venue and take accountability for ensuring the accuracy of closing the system. Furthermore, you will be responsible for inspiring action and ownership within your team for the delivery of the departmental plan by breaking it down into measurable objectives. You will be a champion of the Butlin's Values and Leadership Behaviours, ensuring that we always have a focus on RPRRT in the way we recruit and manage contracts for team. You will build and maintain strong relationships across the resort, other resorts, and Butlins central support teams. You will also be responsible for monitoring team retention, utilising exit interviews as an opportunity to retain or gain feedback, to address opportunities to increase retention scores. The ideal candidate will have previous demonstratable experience leading a venue within an F&B or Retail environment, strong experience of being guest/customer facing and dealing with a range of queries and sometimes complaints directly. They will also have good commercial acumen, experience of managing rotas based on fluctuating guest volumes, and experience in working with multi-skilled teams to support other areas of the business based on guest demand. The candidate will be able to communicate effectively at all levels, manage multiple priorities, and adapt quickly to changing requirements.
