Main Responsibilities:

  • To assemble and test products accurately and efficiently, adhering to high-quality standards and safety guidelines.
  • To work collaboratively with colleagues to achieve shared goals and objectives.
  • To maintain a clean and organized workspace, following 6S principles and contributing to lean manufacturing initiatives.
  • To identify and report any defects or anomalies during the assembly process.
  • To stay up-to-date with relevant Health and Safety policies and procedures.

Requirements:

  • Significant experience in mechanical assembly and manufacturing operations, preferably in a safety-critical environment.
  • Familiarity with aerospace or automotive manufacturing processes and familiarity with Lean Manufacturing principles.
  • Able to perform product testing and measurement tasks, including insulation resistance testing and helium leak testing.
  • Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills, with ability to troubleshoot issues effectively.

Hourly Rate: £15.96 per hour
