Carbon Spar Assembler Job Description


Marine Resources is seeking a skilled Carbon Spar Assembler to join their composites production team in Fareham. The successful candidate will be responsible for reading technical drawings and the Bill of Materials (BOM) to produce high-quality Carbon Spar components for sailing boats.


Key Responsibilities:



  • Measure and mark out positions for fittings and fixtures
  • Measure and mark out positions for any necessary routering, cutting, drilling, or riveting
  • Assemble and secure all parts according to the BOM using a range of hand and power tools
  • Raise any issues that conflict with BOM instructions

Requirements:



  • Wide range of hand and power tool experience
  • Measure and marking out experience
  • Able to work as part of a small team
  • Ability to understand BOM instructions and technical drawings
  • Experience of assembly work
