Job Title: Electrical Engineer

We are seeking an experienced Electrical Engineer to join our team at Project Start Recruitment Solutions. As an Electrical Engineer, you will be responsible for installing, maintaining, and repairing electrical systems in both domestic and commercial environments.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Conduct maintenance, fault finding, and diagnostics on existing electrical systems.
  • Install new electrical systems, including lighting and heating, to customer standards and to maintain those systems while upholding safety guidelines and complying with codes and regulations.
  • Ensure the electrical systems adhere to the national electrical safety standards and regulations.
  • Diagnose and repair electrical problems in commercial and domestic electrical systems, including fault-finding, rewiring, testing and monitoring.
  • Assess and order the parts required for a job, completing work orders and recording materials that are used on the job.
  • Conduct routine maintenance and testing on commercial and domestic electrical systems, and ensure installations are to manufacturer standards.
Requirements:
  • City & Guilds 2360 and 2382 qualifications or equivalent electrical qualifications (ECS Gold Card).
  • City and Guilds Inspection and Testing Certificate (2391).
  • Working knowledge of IEE Regulations.
  • Able to demonstrate familiarity with NICEIC requirements.
  • Previous experience of working as an Electrician or Electrical Improver.
  • Knowledge of Policies, Processes and Procedures including Safety.
