About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Service Manager to lead our Northumberland Community Engagement Team and the North Tyneside Assertive Engagement Team. The successful candidate will be responsible for delivering high-quality services, developing relationships with stakeholders, and promoting positive mental wellbeing in the community.

The ideal candidate will possess excellent leadership skills, a commitment to involving service users, and the ability to identify and develop new opportunities within the geographical areas responsible for. They will also be required to manage performance, negotiate, and influence effectively, as needed.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead the Northumberland Community Engagement Team and the North Tyneside Assertive Engagement Team
  • Develop and implement effective strategies to promote positive mental wellbeing in the community
  • Build and maintain relationships with stakeholders, including service users, partners, and external agencies
  • Manage performance, negotiate, and influence effectively, as needed
  • Identify and develop new opportunities within the geographical areas responsible for
