About the Role

We are seeking a Food Service Assistant to join our team at our visitor attraction site in Pembrokeshire. As a Food Service Assistant, you will be responsible for assisting the kitchen supervisor with food preparation, ordering supplies, maintaining HACCP records, and providing high-quality customer service.

Responsibilities

  • Assist the kitchen supervisor with food preparation before and during service periods
  • Order kitchen and stock supplies from approved suppliers
  • Maintain HACCP records and ensure food hygiene standards are met
  • Prepare, cook, and serve meals to high standards
  • Develop and improve the customer experience
  • Ensure the café service is maintained to a high standard
  • Undertake any other duties as required by the Catering Manager

About You

  • We are looking for candidates who are positive, friendly, and can work under their own initiative
  • Full training will be provided, but experience in the food service or retail industry is beneficial
