About the Role:

We are seeking a highly skilled Radar Systems Engineer to join our Senior Engineering Team at Technical Futures Ltd. As a key member of the team, you will be responsible for designing and developing advanced radar systems, including specifying hardware architecture, RF performance characteristics, waveform design, and digital signal processing algorithms.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Design and develop radar systems, including hardware architecture, RF performance characteristics, waveform design, and digital signal processing algorithms.
  • Contribute to the analysis and modelling of radar signal processing algorithms and waveforms to select the best options for new radar designs.
  • Take ownership of the system design of the radar, including specifying the hardware architecture, RF performance characteristics, waveform design, and digital signal processing algorithms.
  • Collaborate with the Senior Engineering Team to develop and implement new radar systems and technologies.

Requirements:

  • Engineering, Mathematics, or Physics Degree.
  • Industry experience of radar system design or satellite communication system design.
  • Strong mathematical and analysis skills.
  • Familiarity with the radar equation and its influence on radar architecture, waveform design, and signal processing methods.
  • Knowledge of multi-function radar design and/or phased-array antenna design.
  • An appreciation of real-world radio effects.
  • Proficiency in Matlab or Mathcad.
