About the Role

Pentagon Motor Group is seeking an experienced Panel Beater to join their Bodyshop team at their Derby Vauxhall Dealership.

The successful candidate will have a proven track record in panel repair and replacement, with a strong focus on delivering high-quality results and excellent customer satisfaction.

Main Responsibilities

  • Replacing and repairing of panels; straightening and filling
  • Completing body alignment
  • Welding and bonding
  • Filling work, dent removal and pin pulling
  • Ensuring vehicles are thoroughly examined and reporting orally/in writing on general condition of vehicles with emphasis on customer safety and satisfaction.
  • Working in a manner consistent with the minimisation of lost, non-revenue and/or diversionary time, recording all such time in an accurate and complete manner.
  • Keeping work areas clean and tidy, well organised and safe from hazards to Health and Safety.

Requirements

  • Previous experience in Panel repair/replacement in a Bodyshop setting
  • Holding an ATA qualification or NVQ Level 3 equivalent
  • Welding experience
  • Ability to carry out large repairs
  • Demonstrating a positive, right first time attitude
  • Showing a great team player mentality
  • Working to a very high standard and a high level of accuracy
  • Awareness of Health and Safety in the workplace

The working hours for this role are Monday to Friday 0830am - 1730pm.
