Job OverviewWe are currently looking for an IT Support Officer to provide first- and second-line technical assistance across all aspects of our business. As an integral part of our IT team, you will be responsible for ensuring seamless communication systems, resolving incidents promptly, and administering user accounts on AD and Exchange.
Key Responsibilities- Install, configure, and maintain Windows 10 and Windows 11 desktop environments,
- Provide first- and second-line IT support for users via the IT Service Desk,
- Support end-users in a physical and virtualized (VMWare) environment,
- Configure and install hardware and software for desktop and mobile devices,
- Ensure all communication systems provide a seamless service and aim to resolve incidents as promptly as possible,
- Administer user accounts on AD and Exchange, as well as amend and maintain permissions across file storage to ensure security levels and access to restricted and confidential information is set appropriately,
- Flexibility to travel when needed between locations and remote support of other offices,
- Support existing Enterprise messaging (Microsoft Exchange) and unified communication systems (Mitel),
- Carry out any reasonable duties as identified by your line manager or team leader,
- Positively represent the company to our customers and suppliers,
- Ensure compliance with our ISO standards,
- Fully participate in the company's performance management and development programmes,
- Maximise own ability to produce quality work, on time, and to brief, utilizing best skills and available technology,
- Ensure compliance with health and safety requirements,
- Background in IT in relevant fields (e.g., Information Systems, Information Technology, Applied Networking, System Administration),
- Windows 10 and Windows 11, VMWare,
- Microsoft Exchange,
- Experience with desktops, laptops, mobile devices, printers, telephone system,
- Some commercial experience in a SME organization,
The successful candidate can expect a competitive salary of approximately £32,000 to £37,000 per annum, plus benefits.
