About the Role

The successful candidate will be responsible for creating engaging digital content, including graphics, animations, and illustrations, to support the Local Government Association's brand and marketing efforts.

Main Responsibilities
  • Content Creation: Develop and design digital assets, such as graphics, animations, and illustrations, to enhance the Association's brand and marketing materials.
  • Website Maintenance: Support the maintenance and development of the Association's website to ensure it remains up-to-date and user-friendly.
  • Reporting and Analytics: Analyze campaign outcomes and ROI, and provide insights to inform future marketing strategies.
  • Brand Guardianship: Ensure all designed content aligns with the Association's brand guidelines and reinforces its values.
  • Template Development: Create and maintain a suite of presentation and report templates to support the Association's design quality and readability.
  • Problem-Solving: Address design challenges creatively, especially when translating data-heavy content into visually appealing formats.
About You

The ideal candidate will have a background in digital content creation, graphic design, and brand development, with a proven track record of delivering high-quality results in a fast-paced environment.

  • Experience: 2+ years of experience in digital content creation, graphic design, and brand development, preferably in a B2B or corporate communications context.
  • Creative Problem-Solving: Ability to think creatively and develop innovative solutions to design challenges.
  • Collaboration: Strong collaboration and communication skills, with the ability to work effectively with internal and external stakeholders.
  • Adaptability: Flexible and adaptable style of working, with a willingness to learn and take on new challenges.
  • Industry Knowledge: Up-to-date knowledge of industry best practices, including GDPR and web accessibility standards.
