Job Title: 1:1 Teaching Assistant

GSL Education is seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic 1:1 Teaching Assistant to join our team. As a valued member of our staff, you will play a crucial role in supporting students' academic and personal development.

About the Role:

The successful candidate will work closely with educators to devise and execute customized educational strategies, assisting students in defining and reaching their academic objectives. You will also provide emotional reinforcement and motivation, tracking student advancement and communicating updates to instructors.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Assist students in managing day-to-day responsibilities and tasks
  • Deliver support within standard classroom environments
  • Collaborate with teachers on lesson structuring and readiness
  • Guide students through classroom and homework assignments
  • Offer emotional reinforcement and motivation
  • Track student advancement and communicate updates to instructors
Requirements:
  • Relevant qualification in teaching or education
  • Previous experience working within a school setting
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Passion for education and a desire to make a positive impact on students' lives
