About the Role

Alexander Lloyd is partnering with a leading Pension's Consultancy to recruit a Senior Pensions Administrator to their BAU Administration team. This is a hybrid working role, with 2 days a week in the office and 3 days working from home. The successful candidate will have the flexibility to align with either the Belfast, Glasgow, or Manchester office.

Key Responsibilities
  • Manage and maintain the administration aspects of defined benefit and defined contribution pension schemes on behalf of the scheme trustees.
  • Carry out various exercises, including winding up schemes, calculating member's pension benefits, and forensic research for schemes appointed by The Pensions Regulator.
  • Provide an excellent service to pension members and clients, answering queries via telephone and email, liaising with trustees, and attending trustee meetings.
Requirements
  • 3-5 years of pensions administration experience, with a strong focus on defined benefit schemes.
  • Technical understanding of UK pensions legislation, regulations, and codes of practice.
  • Experience in managing ad-hoc and annual pension projects, such as scheme events.
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and oral, with the ability to articulate and communicate with scheme members, pensions trustees, and other relevant third parties.
