About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Learning Support Professional to join our team at SANZA Teaching Agency. This is a fantastic opportunity to make a real difference in the lives of students who require additional support.

The successful candidate will work closely with the Assistant Head teacher for Inclusion to provide one-on-one and small group support to students facing behavioural, emotional, or social challenges. You will also assist in implementing positive behaviour strategies and contribute to the wellbeing and mental health of students.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide targeted support to students to build their confidence and self-awareness.
  • Assist in developing and implementing individualised behaviour support plans.
  • Promote social and emotional wellbeing through leading or participating in activities that encourage positive social interactions and emotional regulation.
  • Collaborate with teachers and other school staff to monitor and address behavioural concerns.

We are looking for someone with:

  • Previous experience in a similar role supporting students with behavioural or emotional needs.
  • An understanding of behaviour management techniques and mental health first aid.
  • Minimum GCSEs in English and Maths; further education or relevant experience in an education support role.

Estimated Salary: £25,000 - £35,000 per annum.
