We are seeking a skilled Cleaning Operative to join our team at Nexgen Group, an award-winning provider of professional Cleaning and Grounds Maintenance services.

About the Role:

As a Cleaning Operative, you will be responsible for maintaining the cleanliness and hygiene of our office premises. This will involve:

  • Dusting, wiping, and washing walls, skirting boards, handrails, ledges, windowsills, radiators, lifts, doors, and frames
  • Sweeping floors with brushes or dust control mops
  • Mopping floors with wet or damp mops
  • Hovering of carpeted areas
  • Emptying waste bins and transporting waste material to designated collection points
  • Mixing cleaning supplies in the correct quantities for safe use
  • Replenishing consumable items, such as soap, toilet rolls, and paper towels (if contractual)
  • Cleaning toilets, urinals, hand basins, and sinks
  • Cleaning communal kitchen areas
