Job Details:
This key role will report to the Electrical Discipline Lead and will have responsibility for the following:
• Prepare and check engineering procedures, specifications, and standards
• Oversight and supervision of discipline basis of design and specifications
• Data sheets
• Act as Lead Electrical Engineer on Projects and Proposals
• Lead or participate in project, client, and vendor meetings
• Prepare and check man-hour and material cost estimates
• Oversee and execute other engineering activities specific to the Electrical design such as power system studies

Requirements:
A degree-level engineering qualification is required, along with experience as a lead engineer through design, procurement, and construction phases. Strong knowledge of European, American, and International standards applicable to the chemical industry is essential, including understanding of hazardous area requirements under DSEAR, ATEX, IEC 60079, API RP 500 & 505, and IP Part 15. The successful candidate will have the ability to apply in-depth skills and broad knowledge to address complex problems and non-standard engineering situations.

The estimated salary for this position is £75,000-£95,000 per annum, depending on experience.
