Wild Recruitment is seeking a reliable HGV Refuse Driver to join our team in the Portsmouth area. As a HGV Refuse Driver, you will be responsible for collecting household waste from residential and commercial properties.

This is a temporary but ongoing role, offering a competitive hourly rate of up to £16ph.

Shifts will be Monday to Friday, 6am to 4pm. As a HGV Refuse Driver, your key responsibilities will include:

  • Operating a Class 2 Refuse truck to collect waste from designated areas.
  • Conducting daily vehicle checks and reporting any defects promptly.
  • Ensuring compliance with health and safety procedures and policies at all times.

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • A current C LGV Licence and valid Drivers CPC and DQC.
  • The ability to undertake heavy lifting, as you may be required to assist with loading the vehicle.
  • A willingness to work as part of a team and take the initiative when needed.
  • A minimum of 1 year's experience with a valid LGV Licence.
